Born and raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Owen developed an interest in politics at a young age. This grew mostly because of his grandmother’s obsession with JFK and the entire Kennedy Family. During his time at the University of Arkansas, he earned a B.A. in Political Science and developed a passion for public service and communications. While at university, Owen completed an in-depth thesis on political rhetoric and its influence on public opinion regarding U.S. immigration policy. He was also heavily involved in civic engagement initiatives and served as a student mentor for incoming freshmen.

Owen’s academic journey brought him to Washington, D.C., where he obtained a Master’s degree in Political Communication at American University. His professional experiences have spanned from legislative research in the Virginia General Assembly to campaign organizing, management, fundraising and now political consulting - where he helps develop outreach strategies to engage voters in crucial elections.

When he’s not focused on school or work, Owen enjoys exploring D.C., visiting family, and going to Caps games!
